Today, my randomly generated Thanx suggestion was “streets.” OK, boring, yes? NO! I LOVE love love streets! Yet I rarely think of them in and of themselves. Do you?

What can one say—imagine ancient streets of Rome, yet today teeming with citizens and visitors, shops, vehicles, smells, sounds, LIFE extending straight for thousands of years.

Or, present day, I look outside and see my semi-urban neighborhood streets, hot from the summer sun, a bit potholed but functioning, webbing my city with connections, children, bikes, cars, dog-walks, bus-riders, commuters, shoppers, loiterers-- because streets are where life happens!

“Streets” popping up on my phone made me chuckle, at first. Then think. Then smile. Thanks!
